los rumberos

From the group’s foundation until today, the international road taken by Los Rumberos has been paved with success in both the United States and abroad! With a repertoire that journeys through the best of Cuban and international music such as Cuban son, salsa, guaracha, bolero, merengue, and cumbia, among other genres, this talented group possesses such a wide range of interpretative possibilities that they are able to satisfy the most eclectic array of fans.

In Cuba, Mexico, and now a large portion of the Great Northwest, fans have swayed to the music and danced to the grooves of their music. All musicians of Dina y los Rumberos are professional musicians who graduated from the Music Conservatory in La Habana, Cuba.

Led by their musical director Raul Martinez, Dina y los Rumberos win over their crowds with their versatile performances and innovative interpretations. You can’t listen to this group and be indifferent. Instead, you sway, dance and become infected by their hip-moving Caribbean flavor.

Son de Cuba's Sextet

Son de Cuba is a sextet created in August 2015 by musicians from Mexico, USA and Cuba. We play different kinds of genres such as Salsa, Timba, Son, Merengue,Bolero, Cumbia, Bachata, Latin Jazz, etc.

The band consists of: Vocals, piano and bass piano player, Nelson Morales; singer and minor percussion, Geisy Almanza; Sax, flute and vocals, Ramon Brizuela Martinez; Timbales, Omar Pons and percussion, vocals and band manager Tony Gonzalez.

We are based in Portland, Oregon. Since four of the band members are Cubans, we have roots in Latin, African, and Jazz rhythms. We blend this vast knowledge of different beats together in classic and modern Latin songs, exuding energy, happiness, and encouraging you to dance. With only six performers, we have a full sound and will draw a crowd with our energy and love for our music. Dancing is encouraged, we may even join you!

At 8:45pm, we will welcome our first popular live band: “Los Rumberos.” On that night, their focus will be on bringing the flavor of Latin rhythms such as salsa, merengue and cumbia, among other genres. Our host MC Dj Osvaldo will keep the party going through intermission by playing the top hits.

At 10:15pm, our second popular live band “Son de Cuba” will take over by energizing the crowd with its amazing Cuban rhythms. Finally, Osvaldo DJ will close the show as you dance your night away.

You will experience an upscale and inviting environment that will provide HD Music videos and a state-of-the-art light & sound system. We offer VIP Chalets, please contact us directly for info and to reserve!
